Dr. Randall VanWagoner has been president of Mohawk Valley Community College in Utica/Rome, NY since 2007.  Over the past 26 years in community college administration he has served as Director of IR, Registrar, Chief Student Affairs Officer, and Chief Academic Officer.  He is in his third year as the President of the New York Community College Association of Presidents and is co-facilitator of the Strategic Horizon Network that focuses on helping community colleges understand disruptive innovation and vibrant organizational cultures.

Dr. Christopher Shults is the Dean of Institutional Effectiveness and Strategic Planning, Middle States Liaison, and Chief Planning Officer at the Borough of Manhattan Community College. Prior to serving at BMCC, he was the Executive Director for Planning and Institutional Effectiveness at Suffolk County Community College and Associate/Assistant Provost for Effectiveness, Assessment, Research, and Planning at Mississippi Valley State. He holds advanced degrees in Higher Education from the University of Michigan, is the Vice-President of the Association for Higher Education Effectiveness Board, a coauthor of the Core Indicators of Effectiveness for Community Colleges, has more than a dozen publications and 50 presentations to his name, and is a husband of 20 years and father of three.
