To participate in this workshop, an attendee will need to:

1. Be new to IR.

Description:
Are you new to the IR field? If so, this full-day workshop will build your knowledge base in many significant areas of Institutional Research.

Our topics will include: overview of Institutional Research; current Issues in IR/Higher Education; knowledge/Skills/Values/Ethics; stakeholders and constituencies, as well as other areas that you will find useful.

This workshop is very user-friendly so bring any questions or concerns you may have. The workshop leaders have extensive IR experience in the public and private sector, and as IR staff and directors of IR/Assessment. Presentation materials will be e-mailed to registrants in advance of the workshop.
 
Intended Learning Outcomes:
Workshop participants will be able to do the following at the conclusion of this workshop:

1. Identify the knowledge, skills, values, and ethics needed to succeed as an IR professional within their institutional setting.
2. Have built valuable relationships, increasing their IR network.
