Workshops offered through the NEAIR Professional Development Services Committee are designed to provide in-depth technological, statistical, or professional training key to the challenges of operating, administrating, or functioning in departments of institutional research.
Each year, the workshops are strategically situated at a member institution in order to be easily accessible financially and geographically to the NEAIR membership.
We are pleased to announce that Providence College will host this year’s Summer PDS Workshops!
The workshops will be held on Friday, July 21, 2017
Half-day workshops are three hours long with a 15 minute refreshment break.
Full-day workshops are six hours long with two breaks.
Presenters receive a $250 honorarium for each 3 hour session, which is divided evenly for workshops with more than one presenter. For those presenters coming from a distance, NEAIR will provide hotel accommodations and some travel expenses, but NEAIR asks that you travel as inexpensively as possible. Additionally, if the workshop does not garner enough attendees, NEAIR reserves the right to cancel the workshop.
All workshop session rooms will be provided with an LCD projector, screen, and materials table; however, presenters need to bring their own laptop, power cord, and any special connectors. If using an iPad, please bring appropriate connectors.
