Summer Drive In/Train It In Workshop Sessions

NEAIR and The New School welcome you to participate in this year's 2013 NEAIR Drive In/Train It In workshop sessions. Easy to get to, The New School is located in downtown Manhattan - an exciting venue one block from Union Square. Please be sure to "Tell a Friend"-- your colleagues in assessment -- about this excellent professional development opportunity.

Registration Info:

  • Deadline: July 15, 2013, but seating is limited
  • Session room assignments will be emailed with registration confirmation.
  • Onsite Registration will begin at 8:30 am for morning/full-day sessions and 12:30 pm for afternoon sessions.
  • Registration and sessions will be on the 9th floor of the Albert and Vera List Academic Center (The List Center) - look for The New School banners. At the front desk on the 1st floor, please show security your ID to be admitted to the 9th floor.

Session Information:

  • Individual Half-Day Workshop Sessions: $85 (NEAIR members); $105 (non-members)
  • Full-Day Newcomer’s Workshop Session: $120 (NEAIR members); $145 (non-members)
  • Participants may choose up to two workshop sessions: one in the morning and one in the afternoon unless attending the full-day Newcomer’s Workshop.
  • Receive a $10 discount for taking two workshop sessions; type in promo code <PDS> under the billing section
  • Enrollment is limited, and workshop sessions will be filled on a first-come first-served basis.

  • Lunch is on your own, or join a lunch group, at one of the numerous local venues located nearby.

  • Workshop location: The New School is located at 6 East 16th Street, New York, New York, 10011. Click here for information on getting there by car or mass transit. Getting into and out of NYC by mass transit is easier than you think so leave the car at home or at a train station on the outskirts.   • Hotel Information NEW! UPDATE!! The Sheraton Meadowlands Hotel and Conference Center has a number of rooms available for July 18 and July 19, if interested. Book your room from the Sheraton Central Reservations Office at 1-855-873-6559. Rates currently $134 and up per night. Rooms are more expensive if you book with the hotel directly, so call the number above. No NEAIR rate, just the general rate. The Sheraton provides a free (10-15 minute) shuttle to the Secaucus Junction, NJ train station, and then it is a about a 15-20 minute train ride to NY’s Pennsylvania Station ($4 each way). You can leave your car at the Sheraton, and there is no parking charge for hotel guests.
