What are LinkedIn subgroups? Subgroups are a feature within LinkedIn for current NEAIR LinkedIn group members to join, according to each subgroup topic of interest.

Where are they? Once logged into LinkedIn, navigate to the NEAIR group. In the right panel, scroll down to the section called Subgroups. This displays 3 of our subgroups, and you can click on "see more" to see others available in this group. Simply click on the subgroup(s) you are interested in.

Current subgroups include the various stages of an IR Career: New to IR, MidCareer IR, and Seasoned Professionals. We also have a subgroup on Mentoring, for both mentors and mentees.

Who can join? Anyone who is a NEAIR LinkedIn group member can join the subgroups. They can serve as a focused area of discussion topics. Feel free to join any subgroups in which you would like to contribute to the discussions. You don’t have to be in that particular career spot, or officially matched by NEAIR for the year. All are welcome and we look forward to your conversations.

We have the ability to add new subgroups; if you have an idea for one, then contact Anj Shaw, jshaw01@risd.edu
