This site provides hot-links to the various accrediting bodies, both regional and specialized. Knowing what different accrediting agencies require can be helpful in developing ideas for internal assessment efforts. CHEA makes it easy to find all these agencies online.

- Institute for Higher Education Policy (IHEP)
IHEP serves as a resource for government agencies, higher education organizations, philanthropic foundations, and others committed to increasing access and success in postsecondary education. It offers policy recommendations and unique research to address complex issues facing higher education and to help people reach their full potential by participating and succeeding in postsecondary education. IHEP offers a nonpartisan perspective with an informal approach through research and evaluation and programs.
- IPEDS Data Center
The IPEDS Data Center allows users to retrieve IPEDS data using the functions listed on the main menu to the left. As you mouse over each function, the function will be described in this bubble. Find the function you wish to use and click on the function to begin. Once inside the Data Center, use the Main Menu to switch between functions without losing the information you have already selected.
