Trip to the Big Apple!
Come early to the NEAIR conference
and go to New York City !

Your Local Arrangements Committee (LAC) is happy to guide NEAIR colleagues who want to go to New York City on Saturday, November 4th.

LAC volunteers will help members get to the train station and buy a NJ Transit ticket into New York City. The train is four blocks from the Hyatt and a round trip is about $15, but $17.75 on Saturdays. We can also provide you with information about how to get around New York City and how to get back to the New Brunswick Hyatt.

If you want to go to a Broadway show, we ask that you take two simple steps:

1. Visit http://www.broadway.com and buy a ticket to the show you want to see. You will have the opportunity to see information on all the shows, seat availability and costs so that you can make your own choice.

Why not contact a NEAIR colleague and purchase your tickets at the same time and enjoy a show together in adjoining seats? Seats for popular shows go quickly, so make your arrangements ASAP. If you have any questions, please contact one of the LAC members who are listed below.

2. Let LAC chair Louise Murray (lmurray@cse.edu) know the show you selected, so we can have enough committee members take you on the NJ Transit (a round trip on Saturday is $17.75 see http://www.njtransit.com for train schedule.) Your LAC will have subway passes and you can give your “guide” the $3.00 to cover the pass. The LAC is happy to provide passes to save time and confusion in getting to the theatre on time. The LAC will provide detailed information about how to get back to the NJ Transit train in New York City for your return to the Hyatt in New Brunswick . Some LAC members will be going to a Broadway show, but we cannot guarantee that the show you select will also be a show attended by an LAC guide.

Visit http://www.nycvisit.com for complete information on New York City

Contact Louise Murray lmurray@cse.edu or Becky Drennen rjd@BerkleyCollege.edu regarding Broadway.

Looking forward to seeing you in New Brunswick!
